Starlight are a charity which exists to support children and their families who suffer with Life threatening or Life shortening illnesses. The aim is to grant “wishes” which create memories and restore the magic and fun of Childhood for the whole family to share.
The aim is also to empower young people by giving them the opportunity to make a choice at a time when most decisions are made for them. This could be getting a new computer becoming a princess or meeting an astronaut.
The donation of £250 was made from monies donated by the members of Royal Navy Lodge.
