Loi Supper & Outhwaite Golf event raise £621 for the Cornwallis EK Freemasons Charity

Its coming Home……   Well  to Derek’s mantlepiece at least!

Saturday 10th July saw our charity steward, Nigel Mann organise the annual Outhwaite golfing event.

Thanks to the national restrictions, this was a first opportunity for Royal Navy lodge to come together and so it was decided to combine our usual two springtime events.

The Outhwaite golfing trophy was named in honour of our former past masters Peter and Jason Outhwaite.  The tournament tee’d off at 330pm around the Northcliffe course at North Foreland and had 30 members & Guests.

Later, the players retires and were joined by partners & Guests and enjoyed a dinner, wine and a chance to catch up with members and families.   The Dinner was hosted by our senior warden, WBro Peter Rodd and coordinated by our Charity Steward, Nigel Mann.

From the proceeds of the dinner, golf & Raffle, £621 was raised which will be donated to the Cornwallis East Kent Freemason charity Cornwallis East Kent Freemasons Charity (cornwallisekfc.org.uk)

 

Winner for the day was Derek Rogers with a score of Nett 54  (HCP 4).   Runner up was Peter Dickinson with a nett 55 (Hcp 11)

Best Guest was Ricky Jarman with a Gross score of 64. followed by Amir Bennet with a gross score of 70

 

Its coming Home! Derek Rogers wins the Outhwaite trophy for the second year in a row. (Much to his Wife’s delight)

 

Always the Bridesmaid. Peter Dickinson takes second place for a third time
