Christmas celebrations at our December meeting

The December meeting for Royal Navy lodge has traditionally been used to celebrate our masters year in office and to welcome partners, guests, and visitors to enjoy a bit of early festive cheer.

The meeting is usually the last full meeting for the current WM as he prepares to install his successor in January.  Its also a chance to open the lodge for a few festive carols and enjoy some good food and company.

This yea was no exception with over 50 members and guests gathering in the temple to enjoy some Christmas carols.  Conducted by our own version of Santa Claus in the form of WBro Douglas Darby who led the carol service.  He was assisted by our honorary organist WBro Chris Humphries.

Following the carols, we met and enjoyed a traditional turkey dinner and a short resume of the “twelve days of Christmas”
