Friday the 28th saw two of our bravest members join in with the EKLBB gliding day set at the Kent Gliding Centre in Challock Nr Ashford.
The East Kent Light Blue Brothers is a club within the Province of East Kent designed to engage with newer Masons across the province and show create bonds through social events and promote interaction to show there is a world outside of their own lodge.
WBro Nigel Mann grabbed the opportunity with both hands and took along one our our newer members, Bro Paddy Clarke to the event and to meet members of the EKLBB club.
Their flight time set for 6:30pm, they took a short safety briefing and entered the cockpit with a sense of trepidation at what was about to happen.
The nerves were soon all behind them as they took off for a 15 minute trial flight under the expert guidance of experiences pilots.
