Royal Navy treasurer hunters raise £345 for Guide Dogs

With some trepidation, 8 cars left the Westwood Manor House for a tour round to discover Cryptic clues left by our Worshipful Master.

Taking in various historic sites in Thanet, including the sailors church where our own Jason Outhwaite’s name is displayed, a race ensued to complete the course in the quickest time.

Winners, by less than a minute were prospective member Steve Ashmore, Sally & Harvey.      Followed Closely by Jim and Gaynor Close.

In total, £345 was raised by entry fees and a raffle.

The Highlight of the day was the breaking of the seal on “Blue Moon” Chardonnay, which has been lovingly brewed by our worshipful master.
